✨ A Little Corner of Magic ✨

A quiet little place hidden somewhere between dreams and reality. 🌙

This piece was all about creating a space that feels warm, magical, and completely removed from the outside world — a tiny fairy artist tucked away in her woodland home, painting pieces of the night sky onto her canvas while her winged companion sleeps nearby.

I wanted the room itself to tell just as much of a story as the character. The melted candles glowing against the window, the crystal lantern casting pink light across the wood, overgrown plants hanging from the walls, scattered sketches, books, flowers, and little pieces of art collected over time. Even her painting becomes part of the magic, with starlight spilling straight from the end of her brush. ✨🎨

One of my favourite things about creating this piece was playing with all the different light sources — the cool blue moonlight coming through the window, the cyan glow of her wings, the warm candlelight, and the bright pink crystal lantern. I wanted everything to feel softly illuminated without losing that peaceful nighttime atmosphere.

And, of course, I had to give some extra love to all the tiny details hidden throughout the room. 💜

A little bit of moonlight, a little bit of magic, and a quiet place to create.

🌹 I WROTE A FREAKING NOVEL. 🌹

I genuinely cannot believe I'm saying this, but over the course of THREE DAYS, I somehow wrote an entire rough draft of a novel.

34 chapters.
Over 60,000 words.
And somehow 1,223 pages in my completely unhinged Google Docs formatting. 😂

It started as a fun little idea inspired by a roleplay and somehow turned into a full dark-romance story called:

🌹 The Rose Behind the Door 🌹

The story follows Rosalie Bennett, a young woman who has spent most of her life trapped beneath the control of her abusive father, and Aaron Valentini, a powerful and dangerous man whose life is deeply rooted in the mafia world.

When Aaron discovers the truth about what Rosalie has been enduring behind the closed doors of her father's house, he makes a decision that changes both of their lives.

What begins as a rescue slowly becomes a story about trauma, freedom, found family, grief, trust, love, and the difference between protecting someone and controlling them.

Rosalie has to learn how to live after spending years simply surviving.

Aaron has to learn that loving someone doesn't mean keeping them somewhere they can never be taken from him.

And somewhere between piano music, paintings, Italian lessons, terrible banter, old family wounds, danger, and two incredibly stubborn people falling hopelessly in love, they begin building something neither of them thought they would ever have.

A home.

It's messy. It's dramatic. It's romantic. It's dark. It's emotional.

And it's probably going to need a ridiculous amount of editing because this is only the first rough draft. 😂

But I don't even care right now.

I WROTE A FU***NG BOOK.

In three days.

And I'm honestly so proud of how beautiful this story became. 😭🌹📖

Now comes the terrifying part:

Editing the monster. 😂

But first, I'm going to sit here for a minute and appreciate the fact that an idea that didn't exist three days ago is now an entire freaking novel. ❤️

Life has been a little extra busy lately. 🌿✨ Between lots of work, family time, and everything else life likes to throw into the mix, I'm taking some much-needed time to slow down, recharge, and let my veryyy sore body recover. 😂❤️

I'm still finding little moments to create when inspiration strikes—even if that just means curling up somewhere cozy and working on a crochet project for a while. 🧶🌙 Sometimes creativity doesn't need to be productive or have a deadline; sometimes it can simply be something that brings you peace.

🌿 “Even the wildflowers rest between seasons of blooming.” 🌸

So today is for resting, creating when I feel like it, and letting myself simply exist for a little while. There will always be more to make tomorrow. 💜✨

✨🌿 First painting finished in my new home! 🌿✨

A little celestial forest magic brought to life through vibrant greens, golden details, flowers and a starry night. 🌙🌼

This piece was such a joy to work on, especially while settling into a brand-new chapter of life.

There's something extra special about this one being the first painting I've started and completed since moving to Grande Prairie — and finishing it on my 27th birthday makes it even sweeter. 💚🎨

Here’s to new beginnings, new inspiration, and as always… never stop creating. ✨

I've been a little quieter on my art social media pages lately. 💚

I've been busy settling into our new home in Grande Prairie, exploring beautiful trails, and spending more time outside. Sometimes stepping away from creating is exactly what you need to find new inspiration.

Thank you for sticking around while I settle into this new chapter. The art will be back soon! 🌿✨

✨ From sketch to final lineart. ✨
I had the opportunity to create this custom floral tattoo design for a client, featuring cosmos and larkspur flowers with two meaningful birth dates woven into the composition.
I always love seeing a piece evolve—from the rough concept to the refined linework—and this one was especially rewarding to create. Every revision helped shape it into something elegant, balanced, and deeply personal.
Swipe through to see the sketch, the finished lineart, and check out the time-lapse to watch the design come to life! 🌿🖤

Thank you for trusting me with such a meaningful piece.

Another piece of my Moonlit Forest Collection is complete! 💙🦋

This is my Lunar Moth crochet bag, displayed beside my Fern bag. My biggest goal with this collection has been creating a consistent pattern while giving each bag its own personality, and I'm so happy to see how closely they match in size while still feeling completely unique.
Next up is the matching Lunar Moth wallet, followed by more nature-inspired designs including Mushroom, Moon, and Stars. Once I'm settled after my move, each bag will also receive a fabric lining, antique bronze hardware, charms, and my engraved leather logo patch to complete the final look.
Watching this collection slowly come to life has been incredibly rewarding, and I can't wait to share the finished lineup with all of you. Thank you for following along on this creative journey—it truly means so much. 💚

🍄🌙 Moonlit Mushrooms 🌙🍄

There’s something magical about a quiet forest at night—the kind of place where the moon filters through the trees and tiny spores drift through the air.

This piece began as a grayscale value study before slowly evolving through layers of color, texture, and lighting. I spent a lot of time studying the bark, moss, and glowing mushrooms, and every stage taught me something new. From rendering realistic wood grain to balancing the cool moonlight against the warm glow of the mushrooms, this painting became as much a learning experience as it was an illustration.

I’m especially proud of how this one turned out because it pushed me to slow down, study nature more closely, and trust the process. Every artwork teaches me something new, and this piece is a reminder that growth comes one brushstroke at a time.

Thank you for following along on my creative journey. I can’t wait to share more magical woodland-inspired artwork with you. ✨
