Happy Easter!!

I've been sitting on this one for a while. I made it for some friends that welcomed the sweetest little boy to their family last summer. I was given free range and took a really long time to decide on something that would be meaningful and bright for the little guy's window!

I was inspired by a book in his collection called 'I'll love you til the cows come home'. There just so happens to be cows and spaceships. I kinda thought it was suiting for a little boy. I'm happy with how it turned out and hope it makes him smile as he grows.

This pattern by gives me some major Up vibes. I modified the pattern a little bit so the basket actually hangs. I love the movement in this piece. I also used a piece of very hard to find, very expensive, hot pink glass I've been holding on to for a special occasion. This colorful gaggle of balloons felt like it needed it and I don't regret the decision.

I'm also a little bit obsessed with the refraction on this one. 💕 If you're looking for lots of color this could be the piece for your window!

Happy new year!

Once all my Christmas orders were done I took a bit of a hiatus to knit my annual pair of socks for a Christmas gift. I'm still a serial hobbyist. I've been reading and living under a heated blanket for the past few weeks but I HAVE been working on some glass too!

Fun fact, glass breaks nicer when it's warm. I don't know the science behind it, but like me, it's much more pleasant to deal with in warmer weather.

Christmas decorations are put away for another year so naturally I expect it to be spring. Please enjoy this shake up of colors for the butterfly & flowers pattern from wild soul stained glass. Last time I made this I said I'd only make it again if I made it bigger.

I lied.

Time had passed. I was asked for a cardinal and while I have a couple of cardinal patterns, this one changes with the seasons. It looks great in the winter snow, spring buds, lush summer foliage and the colorful fall leaves. I had to do this one again.

The small pieces are miserable, but I'm the only one that knows that. This one is off to grace a window just in time for the holidays and I couldn't be happier to hand it off to a very excited customer.

Orders are still closed for now. I am deep in that 'pre Christmas panic' mode where I juggle too much but always somehow get away with it. I've learned nothing and I'll do it again next year. I do have a 'currently available' album for things that are probably in my windows waiting for their forever homes with their special someone!
