Happy National Acadian Day to all of our fellow Acadians! Barely a breath of wind today to fly the flag but it proudly flew just the same. As a 10th generation Acadian/Thibodeau, it is important to me to mark this day to remember what happened, to celebrate how resilient we were (and continue to be) and to ensure our culture remains strong for generations to come. So cool to see a glimpse of your stuff shared! It was a great weekend at Digby Scallop Days. Fun meeting new people and seeing friends and family. Each event leaves you with fun memories and stories to share. My favorite memory of this weekend will be the group of ladies on a girls trip who were on the hunt for scallop shells and how excited they were to show me when they found some! Thank you to everyone who made this weekend such a fun one!
