Designing a cottage means designing for real life in its most unfiltered form. It’s not controlled. It’s not predictable. And it definitely isn’t quiet. It’s kids running in from the lake, it’s dinner for 12, it’s sandy feet, sunscreen bottles, and bug spray.

Through all of that, the space still has to function. It has to welcome people of all ages, hold up to constant use, and still feel like a retreat at the end of the day. This living room at Redstone Lake was designed with all of that in mind.
