A Wednesday morning in the workshop.
There are usually quite a few things happening at once around here — pieces nearing completion, others somewhere in the middle of the process, and plenty more waiting their turn.
It’s perhaps not the tidiest look at the workshop, but it is an honest one. Small-batch work means each piece makes its way through the shop a little at a time, with plenty of cutting, shaping, sanding, finishing and handwork along the way.
And, as always, the colour and character you see in the wood is simply the wood itself — no dyes or stains needed.
Just a little behind-the-scenes look at what a Wednesday morning at T. Weatherhead & Co. looks like here in Nova Scotia.
