Hi Friends 🤍

We thought it was about time that we formally introduce ourselves to all of you!

For those of you who don’t know, we are Christina and Gary; husband and wife duo and the owners of Little Llama Handmade. We were both born and raised in Nova Scotia, grew up in the HRM, and met each other during our teen years. We bought our dream home in 2018 in White's Lake, got married the following year, and started our family the year after that. We are the proud parents to two incredible kiddos, and one furry best friend Barney the Poodle, who keep us on our toes, and full of love.

During the week you can find us at our day jobs as a Pediatric X-Ray Technologist (Christina) and a Computer Engineer/Community College Teacher (Gary). When we aren’t working you can find us going on adventures with our kids, spending time with our family and friends, rewatching the same TV shows again and again,
playing hockey (Gary), enjoying a glass of white wine (Christina), spending time at Gary's family cottage in Pugwash, and trying to sneak in a few hours of sleep in between 😅

We started Little Llama Handmade in 2022 after Gary suggested we find a hobby we could enjoy together in the evenings after our oldest was in bed. We did a little research, tried a few things out, and fell in love with candle making. The perfect combination of a hands-on activity, and a creative outlet. Since starting this wonderful adventure, we have grown not only as a company, but as individuals and as a couple. We have met so many incredible people, celebrated huge successes, learned a lot of hard lessons, and enjoyed every
chaotic minute together.

Happy January Friends!

We had a magical couple weeks away from social media to enjoy our kids and the holiday season, and now we are back, as refreshed as we ever are (ha-ha), and ready for a new year.

Now that our gifts have been given and received, we want to post some of the incredible local goods we loved this holiday season. We will be sharing these incredible local businesses and their beautiful products on our stories today ✨🎄

This weekend we left our kiddos with their fabulous Auntie, drove to the beautiful Annapolis Valley, and celebrated as two of our very good friends got married.

Gary was a groomsman so he spent Saturday taking pictures, and enjoying wedding prep festivities, and I got to sit back, head to the (of course), relax, and enjoy some wonderful company, and delicious wine.

Fun fact: did you know 6 years ago Gary and I got married at the Wolfville Farmers Market? And the MC at our wedding was who got married this past weekend! Check out the last picture if you want to see us all dressed up as we celebrated our own love.

I think we dress up nicely!

This market is going to be so much fun, with a wonderful group of vendors selling their handcrafted goods, face painting for the kids (or kids at heart), and a certain special guest will be arriving at 11 am 🎅

This is our final market weekend of the 2025 season, so if you are looking to purchase some candles or wax melts with the market discount this weekend is your last chance! Candles will of course still be available on our website year round !

✨ FINAL MARKET WEEKEND OF 2025 ✨

Good morning friends!

This weekend is our final market weekend for the 2025 holiday season, and I wanted to say a quick hello and let you know where we'll be!

Today, Saturday, November 29th we are at two markets.
You will find Christina at the Holiday Shopping Extravaganza hosted by
from 10am to 2pm. Located at 2187 Larry Uteck Blvd, Halifax, entry is $2 at the door, and there is lunch available for purchase through there kitchen!

Then if you were closer to the North Shore, you will find Gary in Truro at The HUB (the Shopping Mall) for the annual Christmas market hosted by . This market is going to be so much fun with face painting for the kids and a visit from the big man Santa himself! They are open from 10am until 3pm.

Then tomorrow, Sunday, November 30th we will be at our last market of the year at the Whites Lake Legion for their annual Christmas show! The hours for this market are 10am to 3pm, and we are so excited to be spending our final market of the year in our own community!

I will post individual posts about each of these markets once we are set up and ready to go, and we hope to see you all out and about this weekend!

Good morning friends and happy Saturday!

I'm here to tell you about our first of two markets that we have on the go today.

Gary will be at the Zatzman Sportsplex today, for day two of the Dartmouth Handcrafters Christmas Market. Yesterday was such a fun start to the weekend, and we are super excited for today!

Hours today (Saturday) are 10am to 7pm and tomorrow (Sunday) are 10am to 4pm.

Come out and support some local businesses, get some shopping done, and eat a tasty treat!

Good morning friends and happy Friday!

We are so excited to be taking part in the Dartmouth handcrafters! Guild Christmas show this year. With over 100 vendors selling a huge variety of guaranteed local handmade products, this is a show you are not going to want to miss!

Located at the Zatsman Sportsplex in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, you Will find us on the main ice surface floor at Booth 88. We will have our full collection of scents with us, including our Christmas collection, and our hand-thrown ceramic wax melt warmers.

Hours of operation this weekend are
Friday 2pm to 9pm
Saturday 10am to 6pm
Sunday 10am to 4pm

Happy Sunday friends!

I'm here to tell you about the first of our two markets today.

Today is the 4th and final day of Christmas at the Forum, and the hours today are from 10am until 5pm. This event is fully sold out, with no tickets available at the door. If anyone was lucky enough to snag one of these hot tickets, we recommend that you come early to get a parking spot and get in line to enter at your selected time slot.

You will find Gary in Booth 862 in the bingo hall, along with so many incredible vendors that are there to help you get the perfect gift for everyone in your life - including yourself!
