There’s a certain time of day in summer that doesn’t get nearly enough credit.
Dinner is finished. The dishes can wait. The sun is getting lower, the air is finally starting to cool, and nobody is quite ready to go inside.
It’s somewhere around 7 PM.
And honestly? It might be the best part of the day.

When the Backyard Gets Quiet
The backyard changes in the evening.
The noise of the day starts to disappear. The kids might be off doing their own thing. The lawn mower is finally quiet. The neighbourhood settles down.
Maybe it’s just you and your partner sitting outside with a drink.
Maybe it’s another couple who dropped by for “one quick drink” three hours ago.
Maybe you’ve got a coffee, a little music playing and absolutely nothing on the agenda.

And that’s the point.
Not every evening needs to be an event.
