Heavy cotton fabric manually printed with traditional Ajrakh printing technique. Ajrakh is an intricate and precise block printing technique. It displays special traditional designs and geometrical patterns. Ajrak is printed on both sides of the fabric by resist printing method. Ajrak print is performed within a grid. Repetitive pattern creates a web-like design. Along with the web, border designs are also incorporated on the fabric. It is a long process and involves several stages of printing and washing the fabric again and again using natural dyes. All natural materials used. Organic and vegerable dye used for printing. Very tribal or folk designs by the local artisans in Indian villages. Very attractive . This is multipurpose fabric with borders on four sides Size: 95”x104”
