An email yesterday had me thinking about this project from a few years back that for some reason I didn’t share much of so here is a sample!
A hotel corridor Mountaineer Lodge Lake Louise in beautiful Lake Louise. A lot of thought actually went into this transitional space with the intent being to usher guests through a gallery-like homage to the history of the area.
Railway inspired wood panels add architectural definition to doorways, provide access points to plenum space, and add highlight to historic photography.
Collaboration with VICE FABRICATION | Résidentiel & Commercial on custom designed and fabricated metal room numbers establish interest and ease of wayfinding.
The textures and finishes were all intentionally chosen to create a light and earthy palette in what was once a very dark and dreary space. Check out the last pic for proof!
