Our Hawthorn clients came back to us after working together years ago — this time for a full reno of the basement, second floor, and a brand new third-floor primary suite popped right up to the roofline. Dark, moody, and seamlessly layered, lime wash walls, Blue Fusion marble, mixed metals, and fabrics that make you want to stay in bed all day. Clearly Paddy had the same idea.

The first week back after the break feels a little lighter when your office looks like this 💻📒📥
Nuit Violeta marble set the tone for a fully colour-drenched space. Walls, ceiling, and millwork are wrapped in Farrow & Ball Brassica, layered with bold drapery and warm brass accents that give the room its rhythm.

Custom lacquered millwork, paired with cane fronts, creates a breathable hideaway for a record collection and AV components—function disguised as a timeless detail.

Cozy chalet hangs courtesy of our Collingwood project. We faced the classic dilemma: keep the wood or paint it out? In the end, we did both—leaving the ceiling beams natural while painting the trim and existing millwork. A perfect balance… don’t you think?

The planning, decisions, and countless details that brought us here make this one feel extra special. None of it possible without my incredible team, amazing suppliers, trades who kept us laughing (and tolerated more than a few changes 😬), and—most importantly a client who now feels more like a friend. Pure magic 💕
