THE SUMMER CLEAR-OUT

I’ve got some beautiful things that need new homes.

While Grid + Gertie is no longer a retail storefront (and I have no plans of becoming one again!), I still have some remaining inventory and seasonal finds on the shelves and it’s time to clear it out.

For the next two weekends, I’ll be setting things out for a little street-side summer sale with 30–60% off.

Everyone loves a good glow-up. And I love the thoughtful design behind this renovation.

A fireplace and custom built-ins transformed this living room from a pass-through space into the heart of the home. Shelves filled with family photos, special mementos, custom pillows, and a cozy spot for everyone.

I was reflecting on how it has already been a year since I closed the doors to my very first studio + retail space… so I thought I would share this little before & after ✨

That space held so much creativity, connection, and the beginning of something I’m still so proud of. But as time went on, I realized the part that lit me up the most wasn’t the retail side… it was the studio. The creating. The quiet. The freedom to play.

So while I said goodbye to in-person retail, I had to believe that this next chapter isn’t a step back it’s an expansion of what mattered most.

My new space is just that: a true studio (yes! I do have a new studio space in town…I’m just a little incognito). A place to design, to dream, to make a mess, to find clarity. A space that feels more like me.

This reflection was a good reminder that sometimes growth doesn’t look like “more”… it looks like alignment. Plus can we all agree that all this grey can move aside for warmer whites and a little more colour!!

Here’s to evolving, trusting your gut, and creating spaces that feel right ❤️
