Some Easter table inspo from a couple of years ago. 🐰 Little details make such a difference!
Etiquette is definitely not my forte, nor do I own a lot of fancy stuff, but it does feel nice to sit at a well composed table, doesn't it?
Even bread and butter feels elevated! ✨

Following on the 'projects' I kept postponing in 2025 and finally made it happen, even if partially, before the year ended:
The gallery wall on our basement TV area with most of the frames/items that were left behind from previous locations. None of the ones you see here are new.
I think it's a good plan for all those frames that keep getting dusty in the storage room. Plus, they can tell a story.
Tasks for you:
1. Find the blank frame. 👀
2. Think about where you could place a gallery like this in your own home/office. 🌟

My favourite stems have to be Eucalyptus... Not only do they have the perfect shade of green, but also the fresh aroma. 🌿
Have you tried it? You just can't go wrong with it in any shelf, table center, storage unit decor!
*Any halloween related decor is getting returned to the storage boxes this week...

Darker days call for mood lighting, that's why I believe having different sources of light in the same room is important. 💡
You can control the 'scene' in many ways - ambience is a good term for it.
How: consider floor lamps, table lamps, sconces, indirect lighting (such as LED strips or in-cabinet), a main light source and even candles.
All should work together as well as individually, both in terms of light itself as well as design wise.
⚠️ It's not just adding a bunch of lamps together and hoping for the best, ok?! 😉🤨

Last room to get new flooring in the upper floor rooms. 🙌🏻
Do I recommend doing flooring after everything is established? NO! But sometimes, we have to accept the facts. The flooring wasn't in the scope when we moved in, so it took way more effort than if the room was empty.
Now time to organise everything back into place and some needed purging. Then next, finish baseboards and caulking. 💪🏻

The ever growing indoor plant collection is looking especially fine this morning. 🌿🌱🪴

Pro tip: minimize the use of artificial plants! The real ones are so much nicer! And plus, they can become conversation starters (true story!). 👏🏻
