I love to create, but more than that I love watching others create! This was the community painting I brought to newhumanevents on Friday. What started out as a simple outline of a bear, turned into a colorful dream world.

What I found interesting, and I had to sit with it for a couple days, is why no one filled in the face. The volume of people that picked up a brush and not one covered the face.

But why?

The painting itself is playful and child like, in the most beautiful way. That theme stayed true with the face of this bear. When we are children, we don't put on a mask, we don't paint our faces. We live bright, bold and colorful, with nothing to hide.

Stay true to your inner child ✨️ 💕
