WEST SIDE!!!!

Out of the shop goes a special little piece.
The stability and ruggedness of the TLX Fire Fighter Radio Rig is a long standing favourite of the shop and has made its way to the front line worn by dozens of volunteer fire fighters across Canada and the US!!! This custom made piece is making new geographical tracks and is on its way to Maple Bay on Vancouver Island!!!!!

I can not thank everyone for the continued support and thank you for trusting my little therapeutic endeavour.

Thank you all so much for voting TLX in the CommunityVotes - Annapolis Valley. Today I leaned TLX received the premium award for the 3rd straight year!!!!!

Thank you all so much for helping show me and others in the same boat that you can find purpose even in those places that are so dark it’s scary.
Every vote and word of support echos the importance of letting those going through a hard time that they are not alone in it.

Healing comes in stages for everyone and no one sees the days of disassociating that comes from talking to strangers in a new town at a small festival the days of hyper-vigilance that follow after telling your story to someone who so courageously shared their’s with you and some times the weeks of overstimulation that comes from continuing to push through negative feelings, self doubt and vulnerability while trying to introduce a PTSD initiative to the public so others never feel alone. Buttt getting to meet the people I have and receive the support I have makes all the side effects of trying to heal in the open a worthwhile change to healing in silence.

Thank you for sharing your stories, opening up to me, telling me (a stranger) anything, trusting me and allowing me to creative a dialogue where we can heal together by talking.

Based on needs.

A little update. When making custom pieces I constantly use the clients feed back to make changes on the fly and where these are one of a kind it can take a little back and forth “lets change this let’s change that” to get the perfect look. Something I’m proud to show was this wheelchair pouch, made with secure zippers at first the client and I made some changes to all for some more accessibility on the left side, so what did this entail. After hours of building. Ripping it in half cutting all the pockets and zippers out and hand stitching new pockets and inverted high quality (rare metal magnets) openings which can be pushed down to open and lightly lifted to close. About 6 hrs of stitching in this piece alone plus the original and follow up work to get it perfect. I don’t charge extra for follow up work I want the piece to work for you and that is it. So thank you so much and hope yall enjoy the progress pictures.
