3. Marble countertops — Yes, marble will patina, and that’s exactly what makes it beautiful. It’s timeless, natural and only gets better with age.

4. Custom cabinetry — Designed specifically for your home, your needs and the way you live. Good cabinetry can completely transform both the function and feel of a space.

5. Custom window treatments — The finishing touch that makes a room feel complete. The right fabric, fullness, length and fit can instantly elevate a space.

Not everything in a home needs to be a splurge, but these are five places where I think the investment is worth it. 🤍

Seeing the transformation never gets old. So much thought, collaboration, and hard work goes into every project, from the design process to the incredible trades who bring it all to life. Every detail is carefully considered, and every decision plays a part.

It also doesn’t hurt when you have amazing clients who trust the process. 😉 We couldn’t be more proud of how this one turned out.

Some homes don’t need to become something completely different. They just need to become the best version of themselves.

For this cottage renovation, our goal was to honour the original bones and history of the home while improving the way it lives. We opened up the connection between the kitchen and den to create a much better flow, concealed the exposed steel around the fireplace, and replaced it with a handcrafted plaster surround that feels timeless and quietly beautiful.

The original wood ceilings and beams were never something we wanted to compete with. They tell the story of this cottage, so we embraced them, letting their warmth become the heart of the space.

The result is a moody, cozy den designed for slow mornings, rainy afternoons, and evenings curled up with a good book by the fire. Sometimes the most meaningful transformations aren’t about changing everything. They’re about respecting what was already there and making it work beautifully for today.
