Someone asked about my throwing chair yesterday and it actually took me a second to understand what they were talking about. It is a chair from my grandparents’ card table set ( the kind that we all grew up with), in the third photo you can barely make out “Dunnigan” written on the bottom. It has had a tough studio life, now held together with tape and clamps, but is the perfect height for me. I figure that I have spent 25 hours a week x 48 weeks x 28 years=33600 hours making pots on this chair. Have a great weekend!
