Demo day at Project Natura marks the beginning of something intentional.

This bathroom was never meant to be ordinary. Every decision was made with scale, proportion, and long-term function in mind.

The crosshatch tile pattern in sage green isn’t just a surface treatment - it introduces rhythm and architectural depth within the shower. It’s one of the most considered installs we’ve designed to date.

Layered into that are the details that quietly elevate daily life: single towel bar warmers, in-floor heating, a travertine natural stone countertop, and an arched glass enclosure that softens the structure of the space.

And then there’s storage - because design without function falls short. A double vanity, a tall linen tower with integrated hamper, and inset arched medicine cabinets ensure this space performs as beautifully as it looks.

This is what happens when craftsmanship and coordination come together from the start.

Follow along as Project Natura takes shape.

The rug is one of the most underestimated decisions in a space.

It carries more responsibility than most people realize. It anchors furniture, softens acoustics, introduces texture, and quietly influences how the entire room feels. Material, construction, and scale all determine whether a rug simply fills space - or truly supports the design.

Natural fibres such as wool and silk bring longevity and depth. Jute and sisal introduce organic texture. Synthetic options offer practicality for certain lifestyles. Each has its place - but none are interchangeable.

Construction matters just as much. Hand-knotted rugs carry artisan detail and age beautifully over time. Machine-made options serve different needs. The right choice depends on how you live, how your space functions, and what you expect from it long term.

Within the First Light Collection, texture plays a foundational role. Airy neutrals feel richer when layered over the right base. Warmth becomes more dimensional. Cohesion feels intentional.

Luxury is rarely loud. Often, it begins underfoot.

Project Blushwood proves that transformation doesn’t always require demolition.

Sometimes the biggest shift comes from thoughtful adjustments - not tearing everything out, but reimagining what already exists.

The clients wanted a boho Scandinavian feel with a feminine edge, and the blush backsplash immediately set that tone. Paired with white oak fluted detailing on the island and range hood, the space feels soft, warm, and intentional.

What makes this project especially meaningful is what we didn’t change. The flooring stayed. The cabinetry stayed. Instead of replacing everything, we refaced the cabinets, updated the hardware, introduced new lighting, and refined the details to create something that feels entirely new.

Function was just as important as aesthetics. By relocating the fridge and extending the countertop run, we eliminated a wasted corner and created a layout that actually works for everyday life.

Even something as simple as adjusting the lighting temperature from cool to warm completely transformed how the space feels.

You don’t always need to remove walls to create a new experience. With the right planning, your home can feel refreshed, functional, and cohesive - without starting from scratch.

If you’re feeling inspired but unsure where to begin, book a consultation and let’s explore what’s possible.

Permit approval is not the moment to exhale.

It’s not the finish line. It’s the green light for coordination to begin.

One of the most common mistakes we see is construction starting while key decisions are still floating - tile selections unfinished, plumbing fixtures undecided, cabinetry layouts evolving, lighting not fully specified.

That’s where projects begin to unravel.

Construction is interconnected. Millwork decisions impact framing. Lighting placement affects electrical rough-ins. Plumbing fixtures determine countertop fabrication. Nothing exists in isolation.

When selections are made mid-construction, it rarely feels like a “small adjustment.” It turns into rework, change orders, scheduling shifts, and added labour.

The smoothest projects share one common factor: clarity established before demolition begins. Layouts are resolved. Millwork is detailed. Fixtures are specified. Materials are confirmed. Trades are coordinated with accurate information.

A successful renovation depends on disciplined planning and early decision-making so that every layer of construction can move forward with precision.

If you are preparing for a renovation or custom build, begin with coordination rather than momentum. Thoughtful structure at the outset protects your investment, your timeline, and the integrity of the final result.

Book a consultation and let’s ensure your project is ready before construction begins.

On site at our newest project: Tailored Living.

This home is about to undergo a full transformation - new flooring throughout, a completely reimagined kitchen, a custom walk-in closet, and the thoughtful storage solutions the home has been missing.

What makes this project especially exciting is the detailing. We’re introducing a concave-style range hood, open archway cabinetry, and white oak surrounds framing each doorway to create cohesion and architectural depth.

This is the kind of layered design that changes not just how a space looks - but how it functions and feels.

Stay tuned - this project is just getting started, and it’s going to surprise you.

If you’re considering a renovation or custom build, book a consultation and let’s design your next chapter intentionally.

Hiring a designer isn’t just about selecting finishes or choosing furniture. It’s about entering into a collaborative process that shapes how your home will feel, function, and evolve over time.

The most successful projects don’t begin with paint colours. They begin with alignment. Alignment in expectations, communication, lifestyle, investment, and trust.

Design is layered. It’s technical. It’s emotional. It requires decisiveness, clarity, and a shared vision. When those elements are in place, the experience becomes seamless - and the result feels effortless.

A beautifully designed home isn’t accidental. It’s the outcome of structure, intention, and partnership. If this philosophy resonates with you and you’re ready to approach your home with intention, we invite you to begin with a consultation. The right project starts with the right conversation.

First Light is here - and this collection feels exactly the way its name suggests.

Inspired by light, natural form, and the quiet shift of seasons, First Light was designed to feel softer, more intentional, and effortless to live in. From the curved arm detail and bench seat of the Olivia sofa, to the sculptural yet compact Natalia swivel chair, to the warm brown Nikki dining table and the elongated Emily coffee table with its refined leg detail - every piece was created to balance beauty and function.

And this is only a glimpse.

What you’re seeing here is just a small part of the collection. There are more pieces, more combinations, more thoughtfully designed moments waiting for you online.

The First Light collection is now live on our website and available to shop. Quantities are limited, and many pieces are made in small production runs.

Lighting is one of the most powerful design tools in a home - and one of the most misunderstood.

We often see homeowners invest in beautiful furniture, custom millwork, curated finishes… and then install the wrong lighting temperature. The result? A space that feels colder, flatter, or less cohesive than it should.

White light has its place. It supports function, clarity, and task-driven spaces.

Warm light brings atmosphere. It softens materials, enhances texture, and creates depth - especially in living areas where you want to unwind.

The difference isn’t dramatic in theory.
But in reality? It completely changes how a room feels.

Thoughtful design isn’t only about what you see.
It’s about how the space responds to light.

When we design, lighting is never an afterthought. It’s layered, intentional, and aligned with how you use each room.

If your home doesn’t feel quite right, start here.

Because sometimes the fix isn’t a renovation.
It’s a bulb.

Project Crosslight is proof that transformation doesn’t always require demolition.

There’s a common belief that in order for a home to feel new, walls need to come down and everything must be rebuilt. In reality, thoughtful adjustments can shift how a space feels entirely.

As this family evolved, their home needed to evolve with them. Instead of reworking the structure, we reworked the purpose. A separate TV space was created using their existing sectional and television - pieces that already worked - and then elevated with intentional additions: a new ottoman, wall sconces, and a tailored console.

The deeper blue on the walls brought warmth and mood to an otherwise bright room, creating contrast without overwhelming the home.

Even the fireplace tells that story. While plaster surrounds are trending, custom builds can quickly escalate in cost. Instead, we reframed the existing fireplace and applied a lime wash finish to achieve that soft, plastered look at a fraction of the price.

In the gathering space, we mixed existing pieces with new ones - layering in a sofa, rug, cabinetry, and accessories to redefine how the room functions. The result feels cohesive, timeless, and intentional.

Design doesn’t always require tearing everything out. Sometimes it requires clarity, restraint, and knowing where small changes will create the greatest impact.

If your home feels ready for its next chapter, you may not need to rebuild it - just rethink it.
