We love spending mornings outside, but at this time of year the ground is usually cold or damp. We use one of our flannel blankets as a cozy home base. Granted, now that he is walking everywhere he spends less time on it than he used to... but it's still a great spot to nurse, do a diaper change, or eat some snacks!

I wish I had kept track of how many times this flannel blanket has been through the wash already. It's not showing any signs of wear and I love being able to toss it in the washer and dryer without having to think about special care instructions.

If you're new here, let me tell you more... In an effort to avoid waste AND make fun, cute, things for little learners, I use offcuts and leftover material from my blankets and other projects and turn them into plush and durable toys. These are machine washable and are super tactile for sensory play. They're a great stocking stuffer and a staple for your toddler's playroom. Check out my Scrappy Alphabet Sets too!

Another beautiful way to use up some leftover scrap fabric ❤️

I came across a local Mama in need of some strap covers for her babe's pavlik harness. A pavlik harness is a soft splint used for treatment of hip dysplasia - see last photo for how it is used. All those straps rub and chafe against baby's delicate skin, so soft covers are a great way to make the harness a bit more comfortable! I can't wait to get these to them to make their experience a little bit softer 😊
