Well I made a purchase that I've put off for a long time as I don't want to support US brands but I do love this colour and it happens to be the colour of my coffee table I refinished a while back. I need to refinish the matching end tables to get them ready to sell so I gave in.

I really want to get started however my thumb I had surgery on has messed that up. I developed a rare condition called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome after surgery which is affecting my thumb and the rest of my hand. I am in treatment (which may or may not work) to try and get it back in full working capacity and have made some good progress but still have a ways to go. It's definitely been a wee bit of a roller coaster ride. Once we have consistently double digit weather I'll be in the garage trying to get going on some new projects. So check back every once in a while.

It's been a while since my last post. I haven't done any projects since before winter. My hands were not happy after my last project and then once December and January hit well those are just two really tough months for me. I did however finally take the plunge and had surgery on my one thumb to combat the arthritis pain. It is a very long recovery process and I'm about 5.5 weeks in now and several more months to go. Hopefully I heal up well and it is successful leaving me without pain doing the things I love.
Anyways here's to fairer weather in the near future and warmer temperatures around the corner. Keep being creative ❤️

Well holy smokes it was 14 years ago today I registered Red Wind Studio as a business. Now of course with the closure of the store in 2022 the registration for the business was terminated. ☹️
These were the first logo options presented to me by a graphic designer. I initially went for a tweaked version of the top left and eventually changed it to what you're accustomed to seeing.
