It's a great day for tracing paper printing! Some awesome prints are on their way to Krista Knott and other lovely sewists!
Yes, it's still pretty humid here, but when A0wyn is in the mood, we keep spooling! Some days the paper just isn't playing nicely, so tracing paper orders often take a little extra time.
What do we mean, complaining about the humidity? Mostly, it means paper jams. This tracing paper sucks up humidity like it's just found an oasis in the desert, then it jams up the works when we try to feed it through. Or sometimes the humidity causes little ink smears on the page, where it bubbles up ever so slightly. This is sometimes serious (obscuring the pattern, or causing it to be the wrong size), and sometimes just cosmetic.
Our other papers are thick enough that a little extra humidity doesn't affect the feed, luckily!
So we are grateful for your patience with this beautiful new paper. Those who love it really love it, and we hope it's worth the wait!
