I worked for an insurance company, but in our spare time we stripped...and we were very good at it – stripping furniture that is!! Our mutual love of restoring wooden furniture and metal items has lead us down a very successful path and since establishing our business in 1982 we have proud to say that we have experienced exceptional growth for the last 32 years! We tend to put heart and soul into those things we love to do and that is exactly what we do every day with the furniture and other items we restore for our clients. Because each project is unique, our attention to detail is paramount and we are able to utilize our experience in revitalizing even the most exotic wood design to perfection. It is this attention to detail, that enables us to recapture the beauty of items whether they be worn out, broken, scratched or cracked. Our clients are delighted that we can extend the life of their cherished family pieces and restore treasured heirlooms to their former glory. When we were first "open for business" in 1982 at our Head Office in Kitchener, Ontario and were confident in our abilities and service, we opted to open a second location in Guelph in 1988. Then, due to demand, in 1989 we opened in another outlet in Cambridge. With extensive staff training, both of these locations continue today as licensed dealers and deliver the same professional service and quality craftsmanship we "The Strippers" pride ourselves on.
