Today, on National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we take time to reflect, listen, learn, and honour the Indigenous children, families, and communities impacted by residential schools.

It is a day to recognize the truths of our shared history and the importance of continuing to learn from them as we move toward reconciliation.

We honour the survivors, their families, and the children who never returned home.
