A “small” crack in your concrete is never just a small crack. 🚨
We recently took on this garage floor project in Coquitlam, and it’s the perfect example of why putting off concrete repairs can cost you big time.
Swipe to see the damage. The original cracks weren’t sealed properly, allowing water to seep deep into the slab over time. That moisture hit the rebar, causing the metal to rust, expand, and completely ruin the surrounding concrete from the inside out.
Instead of a simple patch, we had to clear out all the severely damaged concrete pieces to build it back right. We prepped the area and used a heavy-duty polyurea filling chemical mixed with silica sand to create an rock-solid, waterproof repair before applying our final premium coating.

Huge before & after in Vancouver.
There was coating which already started peeling off due to the improper concrete preparation.
We stripped it off first, then diamond grind the entire floor again, fixed the cracks, and then carefully vacuumed. This is called professional preparation.

Also customer wanted extra grit for her mother not to be slipped. We applied extra grit aluminum oxide for the better friction on top of flake texture.

The customer is absolutely happy with the result.

Here’s a look at the “before” situation for our latest commercial TI project in Coquitlam. This is what happens when epoxy isn’t installed correctly—layer after layer of failure and peeling.
We aren’t just slapping a new coat on top. We’re stripping this entire hall area down to the concrete to fix it for good. Drywall repairs and aluminum guard panels are also on the menu to get this place up to spec.
