A nice change of scenery tonight from my usual couch headquarters where pumpkin hats are normally in production. 🎃🧶😄

Tonight I traded pumpkins for poppies and joined a great group of ladies to work on a new project — making poppies for an art installation headed to a museum in Ottawa. 🌺

Who knew my crafting career would take me from seasonal headwear to museum contributions? 😂

A friend (and repeat customer) lost a pair of fingerless gloves that she purchased from me a few years ago so since I have a bit of free time I made a couple more pairs for her. A little something different now and then keeps things interesting.

Thanks to everyone who came out to Glenwood Elementary yesterday for their Christmas Market. It was a fantastic day and there were so many great vendors to shop at. Next weekend will be my final market of the year. I’ll be at James Hill Elementary in Murrayville (Langley). Hope to see you there!

Saturday will be market #2 for this holiday season. I’ll be out at Glenwood Elementary in South Langley. It will be be my first time there as a vendor but I’ve attended many times in the past as a shopper and it’s a fantastic market.
