Due to the holiday season right around the corner, I'm lighting a candle in memory of my personal life 🕯️ Gone but not forgotten (I never had time for it anyway).

Electrician by day, candle CEO by night, social life... we don't know her.

Apparently “the business” isn’t an acceptable answer to “what do you do for fun?” 😂

But like… I genuinely do not understand the question.

I make candles. I think about candles. I talk about candles. I come up with new ideas for candles. And somewhere in there, my brain decides we should probably start another business too.

Still working on that whole work-life balance thing. 😂

POV: You clock out from your 8–4:30 as an electrician and clock straight into CEO mode.
Maybe I should stick to one full-time job.

Maybe.

But then who’s going to pour the candles, answer the emails, design the custom orders, pack the wholesale orders, plan the launches and randomly decide at 11pm that the entire candle room needs to be reorganized?

Apparently me. 😂

At this point, I’m not entirely sure which one is the side hustle.

Owning a business is hard, but you know what really tests me?

Peeling the backing off the damn wick stickers. 😂

Wax temperatures? Fine.
Fragrance ratios? Okay.
Burn testing? Alright, I got this.

But that tiny little sticker that should take 0.2 seconds?

Apparently, my greatest opponent.

It’s literally the simplest part of making a candle and somehow the biggest pain in the b***y. 😂

POV: you're "just gonna get one" candle.

Then it needs a friend so it doesn't get lonely on the shelf. Then that friend gets bored without more scents to hang out with. Then suddenly you're doing math on how "technically cheaper per candle" the bundle is.

We don't make the rules, we just pour the candles.

Episode 5 of Smell-O-Vision is here and this one's a mood: Fallen Glow 🍂

Think C***r Social's cozy cousin, if apple cinnamon started hanging out with orange, allspice, sandalwood and musk.

Here's the part that gets us every time: this one percolates. Almost carbonated, like the scent is fizzing up and hitting your nose in waves instead of all at once. Cozy, but make it interesting.

Fresh. Warm. Spicy. The kind of candle that makes your place smell like it has its life together, even when you don't.
