Fresh load of Premium Garden Soil with Compost just landed at Hilgersom! 👏

And if you’ve been thinking about giving your garden beds a little TLC, fall is a great time to do it.

Adding compost and quality soil now can help:

🌱 Replenish nutrients used up during the growing season
🌱 Improve soil structure and drainage
🌱 Add organic matter to your soil
🌱 Help your soil hold moisture
🌱 Give those organic materials time to break down and integrate into the soil
🌱 Get your garden beds ready for a strong start next spring

The garden may be slowing down for the season, but that doesn’t mean there’s nothing happening below the surface.

A little work this fall can make a big difference when spring rolls around.

Good gardens start with good soil.

Need some for your fall projects? We’ve got a fresh load in and ready to go!

Fall landscaping doesn’t necessarily mean that you need to tackle the whole yard.

Sometimes it’s just about picking one small project and getting it done before winter.

Here are 3 ideas:

🚶 Add a walkway — sidewalk slabs or natural stone can create a simple path to the shed, garden or backyard.

🌿 Refresh a garden bed — fresh cedar mulch or decorative rock can give an existing space a whole new look.

🧱 Build a little patio — you don’t need a huge backyard to create a spot to sit, relax and enjoy a few more fall days.

So, what’s still sitting on your yard to-do list?

Pick a project. Come see us. Let’s get it done.

Hilgersom Landscape Centre, here to help with the materials, ideas and advice to get your fall project moving.

Beatrix has a fall project for you. 🐾

Thinking about upgrading your kennel or creating a dog run? Our 20mm Round Rock is a great option for creating a dedicated area for your four-legged friends.

It creates a clean, defined space and is easier on those paws than rougher, sharper aggregate.

Your four-legged friends will thank you. Their paws especially.

Whether you're creating a new kennel area, dog run or another small fall project, stop by Hilgersom Landscape Centre and check out our selection of aggregate and landscape materials.

Pick a project. Get it done. Enjoy it before winter.

Still have a few things on your yard to-do list? Don’t pack it in just yet.

There’s still time to tackle a few smaller projects before winter, a fire pit area, a walkway, a dog run, a garden refresh, or even that patio you’ve been talking about.

Whether you’re a DIYer tackling a weekend project or a landscaper finishing up fall jobs, we’ve got the materials to help get it done.

Stop by Hilgersom Landscape Centre, bring your project ideas (or even a photo of the space), and let’s figure out what you need.

Your garden is getting ready for winter. Might as well tuck it in properly.

As the garden slows down for the season, a fresh layer of shredded cedar mulch is like a cozy blanket for your garden beds.

Why add mulch this fall?
• Helps insulate the soil and protect roots
• Helps retain moisture
• Helps keep weeds under control
• Gives your garden beds a fresh, finished look
• Adds organic matter as it breaks down

And we’ve got plenty of ways to get it home:
Bulk | Bulk Bags | 5.5 cu. yd. Compressed Bales | 2 cu. ft. Bags

So before you officially call it a season, give those garden beds one last little bit of TLC.

Stop by Hilgersom Landscape Centre or give us a call and get your garden tucked in for winter.
