Growing up, I was surrounded by women whose hands never seemed to stop knitting and sewing. As a young mother of two girls, I would make most of their clothes (with fabric I ordered from the Eaton's and Sear's Catalog) and when they were asleep I would stay up into the wee hours of the morning, in the quietness, sewing until I couldn't stay awake any longer. I have recently retired, after working
as an Administrative Assistant for 38 years. Being creative is a way of life for me and I now have more time for those things. The internet and social media has opened up new doors with so much inspiration, connecting with other crafters and a means of getting supplies. I've decided to turn my passion into a small business to keep busy during the next phase of my life and sell items as I make them. I hope you like what you see!!
