The last month has flown by. I've managed to see old friends and childhood haunts, do a bit of sight- seeing and meet someone whose work I've followed from afar for the last few years.

My friends mum is currently in surgery and fingers crossed for no implications and a speedy recovery. I've never traveled without knowing when I'm "returning home." This is not a vacation but there's definitely nowhere I'd rather be.

Blythe is happy to enjoy a clear, sunny spring day on the ocean. The first few days were blustery and cold,the sun is a welcome change! I hope to take her to some local sites in the coming weeks...traveling with Blythe just makes everything more fun.

I've been quiet, so here's an update.

I have withdrawn from all events from April through the end of June as I am headed to the East Coast for a couple of months to support family during a difficult time.

I will be back in early-July and working hard to present at in August.

I will be sharing the details on some of my favorite events and I hope you join in the fun and celebrate all that Ontario has to offer!

I can now let the cat out of the bag!!! I was contacted by Anderson CraftAles in the early fall to discuss my participation in their annual mug club. Several samples later and a design was selected.

Kelm was a dream to work with in creating a profile rib for the project. I didn't want identicle pieces, but I did want the pieces to be cohesive. My profile rib helped me do that.

For the 125 pieces requested, I did some 37 different glaze finishes. The idea was to provide choice to participants so that they could choose a piece that was unique to them.

I think I succeeded.

This was an incredible opportunity and I learnt so much. Thank you to Anderson Craft Ales for giving me a chance!

It's been a hot minute since I last posted so ill try to keep it brief.

Happy New Year, I hope 2026 brings you joy, success and nachos.

2025 was brutal. For a person that craves stability and predictability, it was a bust.

Ive spent the last few months working on a large commission. Im not at liberty (yet) to say what it is but boy, a lot of work. I'll be swole once it's done!

I have many fantastic ideas that will be coming to fruition, keep an eye out!

As always, I'm incredibly humbled by every person who has supported my work. It means everything.
