Today’s tip: If you’re planning a surprise party🥳 for an elderly loved one, consider having guests arrive one at a time and ring the doorbell instead of everyone jumping out at once. It keeps the surprise fun😀 without feeling overwhelming, and gives them time to enjoy each special arrival. 💛

I'm blessed to have an amazing mom! 🥰Today we celebrated Mother's Day! I set the table with my fine china, magnolias & candles. We enjoyed our brunch💖
Happy Mother's day to all the wonderful moms and nurturing women who pour their lives out everyday helping others! I have been so blessed by many incredible women! ❤️❤️❤️

As a decorator these are my top 3 favorite things for any party- a statement focal piece, a beautifully styled table, and soft ambiance!
1) Statement focal piece- every party needs that one spot people gather and take photos.
2) Beautiful table styling-layered place settings, runners, centerpieces.
3) Soft ambiance (candles, lighting, cozy touches)

You know those awkward few moments when your guests arrive.😬😅
Here are a few ways to help...💜

✨️Set up a pour your own drink station & that could include adding something to indicate their glass. 🍸
✨️A cozy corner with a question card or topic that could be related to the evening.
✨️if they brought something that is also a conversation starter.
