Is she practical as a nightstand? Nah. Is she cute? Yes.

Let this be a reminder that not everything you see in our finished project photos is indicative of how our clients actually live. Still beautiful of course, but also super functional for life. Cause we all know we don’t need anything adding to that mental load! 😅

I could go over the 229583 decisions that we made to get to the end result you see here but ain’t nobody got time for that. (Am I aging myself with that reference? 😬)

Maybe rapid fire isn’t my jam 😂

I did my best Ok?!

But for real, there are a ton of decisions when furnishing a space. Even the smallest details can be made up of 100 tiny decisions to get to the end goal.

Each piece is carefully selected to not only look beautiful in your home but add better functionality, dimension and cohesiveness to the space.

This is just a bedroom - think of all of the decisions you need to make for an entire home!? Overwhelmed? We got you. 💅

When I tell you this one was a long haul…😅

We first met with these lovely clients back in November 2024. They wanted to renovate their second story to not only better reflect their taste and style but to function more efficiently for how they live.

We worked with LIMITLESS Design & Drafting and Kasic Construction to create a new floor-plan that added a walk-in closet, spa-inspired primary ensuite, larger bathroom for the kids, new bedroom layouts, and a new laundry room.

While we had to get super creative and use every single nook and cranny, we were able to knock off almost everything on their wishlist!

Intentional design changes the game people.

We are thrilled not only with the way this space was transformed but for how much better the grind of everyday life is now for this amazing family.

Just over here dreaming and scheming for a few big projects in the works. 🤩

I have to say it feels weird not constantly driving around to site visits, client meetings and suppliers. I catch myself thinking I’m not busy because I’m not running around like a chicken with my head cut off (but for real, where my chicken people at, do they do that?! 🐓).

While all phases of a project are important, this might be the most crucial - designing layouts, overall floor plans, architectural details, preliminary material selections, millwork designs. These are the details that will not only ensure your space functions for how you live but also make your house feel like a home.

All that to say, if you need be, I’ll be at my little office desk until further notice ✌🏻 Pls send snacks.

If you know me, you know I am no DIY-er.

The craftiest I get is glueing googly eyes on toilet paper rolls or using double sided tape to “hem” my pants 😂

This peg wall design was absolutely crushed by Emily Michelle and then Klaudia Kawa did her thing and styled and organized to the wee hours to get her ready for her close up.

This *might* just be pretty enough to get me to pick up some craft glue and scissors…maybe.

I’m only saying this because I care 😅

For real though, who am I to judge? Design is subjective. In the end, your space should reflect you and bring you joy and that’s truly all that matters. (Oh and apparently a good turnout 🩰)

What a wild ride this was! 😅

Being part of this show was such a unique experience. From where this space started to the final gorgeous product you see here took massive team effort, tons of communication, coordination and hustle.

Thankful we had the opportunity to help bring this to life with and all of the amazing trades, suppliers and of course, the contracting team.

So happy for these amazing clients to now call this space home!

Welcome to our new series titled "things on this nightstand" (aka how to style minimally but with intention).

Please note the following items:
✔ a lamp with texture 'cause..duh 💁‍♀️
✔ flowers we definitely didn't panic-buy the morning of the shoot
✔ Barack Obama (thank you to our client for helping us look smrt 🤓)
✔ a tiny dish that has never held anything and never will (but actually it's for rings which is practical and useful, but that doesn't sound as funny)

This is what we call intentional styling. No further questions (but if you have a Q actually just DM us, we can't deny a good design dilemma).
