Ready to graduate from scarves and dishcloths? 😉 Come knit your very first hat!
Over two Saturday mornings, we'll guide you through a great first hat and a fun introduction to knitting in the round. You’ll learn how to work on circular needles and tackle the small circumference of the crown.
October 17 & 24 • 10am–1pm
You’ll need the basics down — casting on, binding off, knitting and k2tog — and Danielle will take it from there.

Ready to take colour work knitting for a little spin? Join Christine Flynn on October 15 & 29, 12–3 for a cozy introduction to traditional Icelandic knitting — featuring the Kastali sweater.
We’ll learn to read colourwork charts, make yarn substitutions, juggle multiple colours, work a bottom-up sweater in the round, and tackle that lovely Icelandic yoke. And yes, you’ll leave with the beginnings of an heirloom sweater for someone special… or yourself. 😉

Weave with me A Canadian Knit and Quilt Shop in Mahone Bay on August 1. An Intro to Tapestry Weaving Workshop in a gorgeous hand dyed yarn and fabric shop!? What more can a fibre lover and hand crafter ask for. Oh yeah, it’s also in a sweet seaside town with amazing cafes and shops and oodles of picture perfect coves and crannies.
