ARTISTS FEATURE: We would like to highlight the dedicated crafters behind the scenes, who make it all possible. Thank you for your hard work throughout the season and beyond!
* JAN BOAS of BAYHOUSE DESIGNS - Jan is a fiber and textile artist whose napkins, placemats and bags have been selling in the Craft Shop for 20 years. Jan takes care of memberships and welcoming new artists - if you are interested in joining our member-run co-op, email her at [email protected]
* JOY SHIPWAY raises sheep and spins the wool you can buy from the Craft Shop for your own projects, each skein labeled with the specific sheep's name. She also makes life-changing wool balls for your dryer. Joy is an integral part of the shop, unpacking and setting up displays, keeping us stocked on wrapping supplies and cleaning when her time allows.
* MELISSA RICKEY of - Melissa creates beautiful wristwarmers from repurposed woolens, reducing the burden of textile waste on this precious planet. Melissa is our fearless scheduler who lines up members with working days in the shop to keep it staffed through the season. She also dives deep into the spring clean before we open our doors for the summer.
* NORA DISNEY is a diverse and prolific maker, offering various kinds of soaps and skincare, slumped glass and candles in the Craft Shop. Nora is our bookkeeper and takes care of all things financial.
* RIK OCHSENBEIN of HILLTOP FARM CRAFTS makes the popular lineup of goat milk soap as well as felted booties, oven mitts and teapot cozies. Rik is on our board of directors.
* MARION CRAGG is an accomplished weaver who has been selling cards featuring her original work in the Craft Shop. Marion takes care of the building's maintenance needs.
* ANASTASIA of .spirit.glass crafts fun jewelry and collectible figurines, sculpting them in the hot flame of a tabletop torch. She is the marketing gal for the shop this season, getting the word out in any way she can.
We are in the home stretch of our 2025 season - come in to peruse all the handmade treasures before we close our doors after September 1st!! Open every day 11am-4pm, through Labour Day.
