Such an incredible honor to take home Gold at the DDA Gala alongside so many incredibly talented designers.🏆

🥇 Winning in the Renovation Under $200K category for our Japandi Sculpted Living project is a milestone I will always be proud of. A massive thank you to the Decorators & Designers Association of Canada for this recognition, and to everyone who cheered me on, sent messages of support, and helped bring this vision to life.

That fake panel under the bathroom sink isn’t doing anyone any favors. 🙅‍♀️

Instead of leaving a dummy panel that just sits there, I like to connect it directly to the drawer below so it becomes one seamless, extra-tall drawer.✨

Here’s why it’s one of my favorite upgrades:

🧻Fits tall cleaning bottles and paper towel rolls upright with room to spare.

💧Gives you immediate reach to the water shutoff valves without struggling around shallow drawers or digging in the back.

🌟It adds high-function storage without adding budget since it uses the exact same drawer front and hardware!

💬 Would you convert your fake panel into a deep drawer, or stick to traditional doors?

📌 Save this for your upcoming bathroom build or renovation!

It’s always the details that make a space feel complete…🖼️

We are thrilled to share that this living room design made the finalist shortlist in this year’s DDA Canada competition, alongside so many talented designers across the country. It is such an exciting milestone for our studio. 🥰

There were so many design choices made in this space to bring scale, warmth, and balance to the home.

Which detail catches your eye first? Let us know✨

An official look at our latest fireplace feature wall. 🖤
When square footage is tight, continuous lines make all the difference. We designed this stone plinth to span the entire length of the wall as a low horizon line, stretching the floor plane and making the room feel instantly wider.

My favourite part is turning the hearth into a seamless bench! I had to jump in for a quick shot to test it out.💫

Not all dining room storage needs pretty open shelves and glass doors.🤷‍♀️

In a small home, you have to make every square inch count! 📐 Instead of a traditional buffet, we completely maximized this wall with closed-door cabinetry. 🚪✨

It keeps the dining room looking clean and elevated, but completely fools the eye with what is hiding behind those “drawers.” 👀

Here is the breakdown of what we hid inside:
The Dining Zone: Split storage featuring an upper w**e rack and crockery, plus lower drawers for linens and candles. 🍷

The Secret Pantry: What looks like upper and lower cabinets is actually one huge, connected door hiding baking staples, oils, and a custom door-mounted spice rack. 🧂

The Snack Tower: The middle section perfectly disguises a stack of seamless pull-outs for cans, pasta, and everyday snacks. 🥫

You don’t have to sacrifice a beautiful aesthetic to get the heavy-duty storage your home actually needs! 💯

Send this to a friend who loves clever storage hacks, and save it for your next small-space project! ✈️📌

Why textiles are the unsung hero of a renovation… 📓🧵

Hard surfaces build the foundation, but soft finishes like wall coverings, rich fabrics, and grounding rugs are what give a room its soul.

Quick sourcing rules we live by:

☝️Always test in natural light: textures shift as the day changes.
✌️Balance your scale so patterns don’t fight for attention.
👌Design for touch. Real luxury is how a space feels.

Save this tip for your next project, or share it with a friend who’s about to start a build! 🤍

Still not over this shower. 🖤
I designed this a while back, and it remains one of my favourites to this day. We went with a super bold terrazzo-look tile in a fan pattern, and I’m so glad we did.

Terrazzo just has this natural warmth and texture that never really goes out of style. It’s awesome seeing it get so much love lately, but to me, it’s always been a classic.

Would you go this bold in your own shower?✨

The standard “Rule of Three” doesn’t always apply when you are designing a kitchen. It all comes down to the scale of your island and the vibe you want to create.🏠

3️⃣ gives you that classic, beautifully filled silhouette across the space.
2️⃣ keeps the room feeling cleanly symmetrical and modern.
1️⃣ creates a dramatic, singular focal point.

Or none at all! This lets your materials like a stunning backsplash or beautiful cabinetry take center stage without distraction.🥂
