I’ve been a florist in Melfort for the past 7 years. I have had many opportunities to use my artistry as a florist to create meaningful arrangements that both represent and make an impact on the story they tell.
Today was one of those moments.
It’s an absolute honour to be able to create this arrangement on behalf of Danielle’s family.
A single red rose represents a life of a woman taken too soon.
MMIW and Reconciliation is an important cause for us at Prairie Dawn Wild & Rooted and we would like to thank Danielle’s family for the opportunity to create this arrangement.
Our thoughts and hearts go out to her and her loved ones as they continue to deal with this tragic loss.

A heartfelt thank you to Crown Prosecutor Jennifer Souter and her team for their hard work and dedication in seeking justice for Danielle Dobersheck. Danielle’s life mattered, and our hearts remain with her and her loved ones as they continue to face this unimaginable loss. We are grateful for the care and commitment being shown throughout this process.
A special thank you to Amy at Prairie Dawn Wild & Rooted for the beautiful bouquet made in appreciation towards Jennifer and her team on behalf of Danielle's family. 💐

You know what I think is the coolest thing about art, is that it’s totally subjective! Everyone has different tastes and vision. Guess what? That’s ok! And I’m so fortunate to have floristry as my art form and trade! Sometimes I blow my own mind with how beautiful I think my arrangement are.

Becoming a florist has drawn out a part of me that I didn’t think existed, and I LOVE my job, and I’m so proud that I’m able to make 100% of the bouquets that leave this store. I put my heart and soul into this little shop, and I hope people can feel that pride when they stop in and buy my “art” that I’ve created.
