I'll be at the Merigomish Schoolhouse Farmers Market this coming Sunday, May 31st with lots of freshly made jam and jelly 😋. This will also be your last opportunity to pick up a tomato/pepper transplant; hardened off, grown in organic medium, and still lots of varieties to choose from.
My next market in Merigomish will not be until June 28th so this Sunday would be a good time to stock up on preserves as well.

You'll find me this Saturday May 23rd, 9am to 1pm at the New Glasgow Farmers Market with freshly made jams, jelly and marmalade, and a lovely selection of seedlings🌱; tomatoes🍅, sweet peppers🫑 and hot peppers 🌶

Lots of greenery in here today 💚! Topping up my pepper and tomato seedlings with growing medium to encourage new root growth along their stems. Some healthy, happy plants headed to the Merigomish Schoolhouse Farmers Market this coming Sunday. Mabel approved 🐈🐾🥰

Queen Sophias!! 😃🏵
In my opinion, the absolute best french marigold. One plant produces a 10 to 12 inch compact bushy mound of prolific magenta orange blooms with gold rimmed petals 🧡.
Perfect in containers, borders, or as I like to use them, in the vegetable garden. They love full sun and will bloom continually all season right up until frost.
These seeds were purchased from Revival Seeds here in Nova Scotia.
A customer favorite that sells out quickly🏵

Seedling update. The peppers 🌶 🫑- 132 of them😳😄- have been transplanted to their individual pots!
A selection of these - both sweet and hot - will be available mid May to early June at both Merigomish Schoolhouse Farmers Market and New Glasgow Farmers Market .
Sweet: Italian, Lesja.
Hot: - starting at the mild end- Jalapeno, Serrano, red cayenne, yellow cayenne, and extremely hot 🔥🔥🔥 🥵- the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion ❤
