Wick Witch Apothecary

10/22/2026

Today, we’re proudly welcoming a wonderful group of veterinarians to our farm Thistle Hill Equestrian for an important equine inservice. To have our stable—and our horses—be part of a day dedicated to learning and advancing equine care is an honour.

And of course, we wanted to welcome these special guests with a little something made with love. Their gifts bring together items from my own shop, Wick Witch Apothecary, handcrafted especially for Thistle Hill, and treats from our shop besties at Pickle & Myrrh , owners of Black Barn Farm

Two Merrickville businesses. Both handcrafted. Both with horse-loving women behind them. A little piece of our village, shared here at our farm.

There’s something so lovely about seeing these parts of our lives come together: our horses, our handmade businesses, and the friendships that make it all sweeter.

Feeling grateful, proud, and very happy to welcome the people who give so much to the animals we love.

October 1st… and the season of the witch is upon us. 🌙

Time to light the candles, gather your sisters and stir up a little midnight mischief. ✨

Our limited Midnight Margarita candle is a love spell for sisterhood—a heartfelt tribute from one pair of witchy sisters to another, inspired by our forever love of Practical Magic.

Lime, coconut and sea salt mingle in a bewitching little potion, made for kitchen dancing, whispered wishes and laughter that carries past the witching hour. 🍋‍🟩

Light the wick. Call your coven. There’s magick to be made.

Headed to the cottage this weekend? Don’t forget to pack a little magick. Our bookshelves are freshly stocked with enchanting reads—from folklore and herbal wisdom to witchcraft, moon magick, and beautifully illustrated treasures perfect for a quiet morning on the dock or an evening by the fire.

There is something wonderfully fitting about getting lost in a magical book while surrounded by nature.

Tomorrow only ✨

A yard sale for the witchy, the crafty, and the enchanted.

Come dig through curious finds for curious minds:
strange trinkets, seasonal decor, forgotten treasures, clothes, art, and maybe a few cursed objects (probably harmless).

Follow the signs, trust your intuition, and bring small bills (cash only).

The veil between “junk” and “treasure” will be especially thin tomorrow.

🖤 Starts in the morning at 9 — early wanderers get the best magic.

This is gentle magic.

The kind that reminds you: after every long winter, you are meant to bloom again.

Not loud or wild, but gentle and glowing—where daydreams bloom like wildflowers.
