🎃🧡 Welcome to The Ink Pad Canada! 🧡🎃

Here is the finished side-step card from my earlier video on my creative page! ✂️📏 Today’s project featured some spooktacular Halloween goodies from Graphic 45, and I had fun putting this little dimensional card together! 👻🦇

📝 Want to try making one? Here are the measurements!

📐 Cardstock preparation:

* Start with a piece of cardstock measuring 7” x 10”.
* On the 7” side, score at 4½”.
* Turn the cardstock to the 10” side and score at 8”, 7”, and 4”.
* On the opposite side of the 10” side, score at 5”, stopping at the 4½” score line.
* Cut a slit on the 7” side from the 8” score line down to the 4” score line.

Fold and burnish along your score lines to create that fabulous side-step design! 🎉

🎨 Finishing touches:
I cut my patterned paper and plain cardstock layers ⅛” smaller to fit the different sections of the card. Then I fussy-cut some pumpkins and sentiments to add those final Halloween touches! 🎃🧡

I love how a simple piece of cardstock can turn into something a little different when you try a new fold!

🎃🖤 Welcome to Messy Magic Friday at The Ink Pad Canada! 🖤🎃

Today, I decided to step out of my crafty comfort zone and attempted a side-step card! ✂️📏 Let’s just say we’re embracing the messy part of Messy Magic Friday! 😂

I found the template over at Graphic 45 and featured their spooktacular Halloween 12x12 Journal Cut-Aparts, along with their Postage Collage Die, to create my Halloween-inspired card. 👻🦇🎃

There’s always a little magic in trying something new, even when the crafty squirrels are running the show! 🐿️✨

👻🎃 Here’s our finished card from today’s What’s Up Wednesday video at The Ink Pad! 🖤🧡

Isn’t this little Halloween scene just too cute? 👻🐈‍⬛ We brought together a ghost, a kitty, a bat, and a fence post to create this adorable Halloween card using Days 1, 2, and 7 from the Hero Arts Heroween 13 Days of Crafty Fun Box! 🦇✨

✂️ Here are the card measurements:

* Card base: 4¼” x 5½”
* Patterned paper layer: 4⅛” x 5⅜”
* Cardstock layer: 4” x 5¼”

Layering your cardstock and patterned paper with these measurements gives you a lovely, even border to frame your design!

I had fun bringing all these spooky little characters together to create this Halloween cutie. 🎃👻

🍂🎃 Happy Saturday, everyone, from The Ink Pad! 🎃🍂

Sometimes you’re feeling a little under the weather and just need to take a ME DAY. 🩷 Take a break, slow down, and give yourself permission to rest. But when those crafty squirrels in your head refuse to switch off… well, you know how that goes! 🐿️😂

So, what do you do? Head straight to your folder of free downloads, of course! 🍁✂️

Today, I decided to put those crafty squirrels to work and created some quick, cute little fall and Halloween tag folders using some wonderful free downloads! 👻🧡🍂

A big thank-you to Mean Kitty Journals and Lenny’s Paper Treasures for sharing these fabulous freebies with the crafting community! 💕 There’s always something fun to create, even when you’re taking it easy.

This little cutie was made using the FREE downloadable ephemera from The Happiness Brigade, and I absolutely LOVE how it turned out! 👻🕷️

The finished folio measures 4½” x 7” and is just the perfect little Halloween project. It is absolutely adorable and so cute! 🎃🧡

A quick, easy project with lots of Halloween fun! 🖤
