“Journey of the Beloved” is a creation very close to my heart, the focal point is Kaaba. As Muslims, our hearts long for Makkah.
Hajj is a living reminder of the beautiful legacy of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), whose unwavering faith and obedience transformed the barren valley of Makkah into the spiritual heart of the Muslim world.
When Ibrahim (AS) left Hajra (AS) and baby Ismail (AS) in the empty desert by the command of Allah, it seemed unimaginable that this dry land would one day become a place visited by millions. Yet Ibrahim (AS) made a heartfelt dua:
“My Lord, make this a peaceful city and provide its people with fruits.”
Allah accepted his dua and blessed Makkah with honour, safety, and spiritual greatness. Today, people from every corner of the world answer the call of Hajj, fulfilling the prayer of Ibrahim (AS):
“And proclaim to the people the Hajj; they will come to you on foot and on every lean camel from every distant pass.” — Qur’an 22:27
Every step of Hajj carries the memory of sacrifice, trust, patience, and devotion. The Kaaba, built by Ibrahim (AS) and Ismail (AS), became the centre of worship for humanity, and Makkah became glorified not through wealth or power, but through faith and submission to Allah.
May Allah grant us all the opportunity to witness the beauty of His sacred house. Ameen.
