Artwork, pillows, bedding, paint samples, furniture, rugโ€ฆ all spread out while I tried to decide what works with what.

This is the part of decorating you donโ€™t always see.

Sometimes I know exactly where Iโ€™m going with a room. Other times, I need to lay EVERYTHING out, walk away, come back, move a few things aroundโ€ฆ and stare at it some more๐Ÿค”eventually, it all comes together.

One thing about home staging that still makes me laughโ€ฆ

I can walk into someone elseโ€™s home and immediately know what Iโ€™d move, remove or change.

Then I come home and walk past something, for six months, thinking......โ€œI really need to do something with that.โ€๐Ÿ˜‰

September always feels like a bit of a reset to me.......a great time to look around and tackle those little things weโ€™ve been saying โ€œ๐—œโ€™๐—น๐—น ๐—ด๐—ฒ๐˜ ๐˜๐—ผ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฎ๐˜ ๐˜€๐—ผ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐˜†.โ€๐Ÿ˜‰

Maybe itโ€™s finally hanging the pictures, rearranging a room, clearing out a closet or finishing that project you started months ago.

This project started with one gorgeous inspiration photo and a client who knew the feeling he wanted.

Weโ€™ve been pulling together finishes, swapping the original stone idea for a beautiful large-format tile and making sure everything works together before the renovation begins.

This is one of my favorite parts of the job........taking an inspiration photo and turning it into something that actually works for your home, your budget and your style.
