Happy Thanksgiving to you all. Thank you for the constant support that you all give me in my business. Know that weaving helps my body work better after having re**al cancer 3 years ago. Getting cancer made me appreciate life even more than I did before. I’m in remission now and August had the all clear for the year.
What ever you all go through and not every day is a good one, there just has to be a few minutes that you do give thanks for. I appreciate you all 💜
Last night we went for a walk on the beach. Missed the sunset, but that is ok we saw some amazing skies that changed every minute we were there lol.
So however you do it, keep doing it and enjoy life to the best that you can. We only have one trip. ❤️

After a walk on the beach I got my sewing machine out and sewed the new curtains for the motorhome. Feels good to have them done as we were so done with the blinds lol.
I had the curtains cut out and pinned before we left home. I had them stored on the queen bunks above my loom , so they could stay flat.
We also made a stew, Simon helped me with peeling and he also helped with putting up the curtains, we are a good team.
Yes I brought my spider plant with me too ❤️

This morning I threaded the reed and tied on, wove one tea towel then we went for a bike ride to a beach up the road. First time of riding in years lol we stopped off and had ice cream or should I say a pumpkin spice sundae. Came back and wove 3 more tea towels. Feel like it took forever to get the warp on to weave. Didn’t take my phone with me on the ride so have no evidence I rode the bike or had a naughty treat lol. No pictures means no ice cream right.
Did knock my bobbins all over the floor. I have a different set up this time.

We got to Tofino on 1st of October and of course after setting up went to the beach and got fish and chips ( not the best) breaded fish yuck lol
Anyway the studio is all set up and I got my first warp for tea towels on the loom before supper last night.
Lots of work before I can weave, but that’s ok.
I have 8 warps
Can you work out which one this is for warps let me know.

I was up at 7 am yesterday making the last warp and this warp I had made years ago and gave it to my friend Kathy Beck,when we went to her cabin to stay for a few days.
I saw the tea towel last year took pictures of it and forgot again. We were up with Kathy and Ron not that long ago and yep there was the tea towel again. Yesterday I found my pattern in my book and made it.
It took 2 hours to make the warp about 30 minutes longer due to this one has 33 colour changes.
This warp is now called Kathy’s Cabin.
The picture with the plate is Kathy’s Cabin.
Kathy has also been one of my biggest supporters and customers and an amazing friend to me ❤️ thanks Kathy.
I appreciate everyone that buys from me no matter how many you buy.
