On the road for Ballet and Pizza is in order for our 1st and 2nd place winners ! We headed out to in search of ! 5 stars all around , what a great place , great people and most importantly the best pizza we’ve had in a long time ! We of course also found the interiors really fun and inviting.

As the year comes to a close, we want to say thank you.
2025 was a big year for AB+ZU. We were honoured to see our Geary Street project featured in . care and attention in the article meant a lot to us. We were also proud to receive a GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN award for our Harbourfront project with and we continue to build great things with him and his team.
We’ve been busy across many residential projects that will shortly see the light of day, reflecting the studio’s continued focus on thoughtful residential work. Additionally, Jeremy has been overseeing operations at , supporting Tom Knezic’s infill housing work . Thank you to our clients, collaborators, builders, and trades. None of this happens alone. Natural light is never neutral. In this bathroom, we watched how it moved through the day before choosing color. The warm tone around the skylight makes the light feel slower and is a nice wake up in the morning. Canadian homes require a little attention. Of course Canadian semi's also require our photographer and designer to take the door off the bathroom to get the shot , but that's another story.

When you are choosing a contractor, have a candid conversation about their experience with stone. The best ones have teams who understand it or know when to bring in the right fabricator. The ones worth working with are excited by the challenge, not nervous about it.Everyone knows natural stone shines in photos, but it only looks this good when the whole team, builder, fabricator, and designer, is alinged.

It’s been busy around here with multiple jobs moving at the same time. As everything is in the construction stage, there’s been a hole of missing content recently. But we’re still here, and perhaps we can use this time to take some pictures of our family room, composed of treasures gathered long ago and only just now. As we always say, make your home your own, and this begins with your fun finds.
