After all the floors we have installed, it takes a lot for a material to stop us mid-job. This European White Oak from Relative Floors + Walls did it. It has been sitting in the space settling in, and today it got its turn.

Underlayment down, starting pieces set. Quite possibly the most beautiful thing we have laid down at Guild Wright to date. More floors tomorrow.

Completed the demo at our new Toronto project, and not a bad backdrop for it. Tearing out floors is usually the messiest stage of a job, so we’d rather leave it clean and ready for the fun part. New floors go in next.
