A lot of new faces have joined recently, so I thought it was time to properly introduce myself.
Hi, I’m Carolina—the founder and principal designer behind Caval Interiors.
Nearly 20 years ago, I moved to Canada from Colombia. I didn’t know exactly what my path would look like, but I knew one thing: I wanted to design homes.
Over the last 10+ years, I’ve had the privilege of helping families renovate everything from condos to full-home transformations. Along the way, I realized that the projects people remember most aren’t the ones with the prettiest finishes—they’re the ones that make everyday life easier.
Then I became a mom.
It completely changed the way I think about design.
Now, every decision starts with one question:
How will this make someone’s everyday life better?
Because a beautiful home isn’t just about how it looks.
It’s about making mornings easier.
Having enough storage.
Cooking together.
Hosting family dinners.
Watching your kids grow.
Creating a home that truly works for the life you’re living.
That’s the heart behind everything I do at Caval Interiors.
