Too funny not to read… and don’t forget to “watch the video”

Prologue…. I always ask Emma if she is ok if I share her projects on our shop page or insta account.

We all know, social media,as much as some people are against it or hate that we are all glued to it… , can make small business owners like us be seen by potential customers around the world really.

Emma and I talk about fun ways to get people excited about Sewing, or we practice doing these fun little dances that we say we’re going to make into TikTok videos and never do, or she likes me to show her the crazy videos that we do at the shop. We’ve also had a discussion of what is not appropriate for Facebook or Instagram.

My little Miss Emme, is definitely a little mini me. so I showed her the little reel I just made of her creating a little coin purse pouch that she proudly took to school today to show her teacher.

Emme asked me this morning how many views she had. I think I have created a monster! 🫣😆🫣! She had told me that maybe I shouldn’t put pictures with our videos. When I asked her why she said people just look at the picture and not watch my video.. futur marketing exec?? Or influencer ?? LMAO

Still with me so far ??? Last year we threw out a challenge. If we reached 250 tickets sold, Todd (Mr Quiltery would pour💦 ice cold water 💦 on me and Pat)…. This year, if we reach 350… Todd gets both buckets… if we don’t, Pat and I get round 2! 🥶🥶🥶. Please don’t let that happen!!

I am often asked if I still knit and crochet … I haven’t for a long time but this twisted headband pattern really called to me.

I am making a batch of these. They are one size fits all, they stretch to fit 🙂 !

Not something I do a lot, but once in a while there is a situation that calls for recovering cushions ! This chair has rocked many babies in my husband’s family and was passed down by his grandmother, to the youngest grandchild, who is expecting her first little bundle of joy. 💕 it has seen many transformations but remains sturdy and strong 💕

Now that The Covered Bridge Quiltery is settling into our new shop… time for me to quilt again !💕

Quilt on the left was brought to me by a customer with a layer cake and a few pieces of yardage. She wanted me to reproduce the quilt she had made for 1 grand daughter for a second grand daughter… so how did I do ?? Mine on the right.
