Ive been playing around with junk journals during my free time this summer and having so much fun. So I thought I would show you what I did yesterday.
When my basket is full of scrap paper, I will make a master board by collaging bits of paper together on one sheet of thin cardboard. Next, I will add some white Gesso all over the board to soften the colours up. Once that’s dry., I will take different stamps and place them all over the master board. I’ll come in with some watered ink and add some colour around the stamps . Finally, when that’s all dry I’ll turn the board over and start cutting up pieces without seeing what’s on the other side and I’ll cut them up for tags in a journal and some pockets and once they’re all cut up I flip them over and get some nice surprises .Now they’re ready to add into journals with some final touches.

Well, this took much longer than I thought. I’ve been wanting to repair one of our patio chairs for awhile. I had to remove the full side of the weaving from top to bottom then weave it again with new plastic read from the smaller edge of arm to bottom.
Happy with the results!
