Tea Drinking Season is almost upon us, an exquisite time of the year for those of us who enjoy sipping tea throughout the day. Royal Crawford Staffordshire ‘Calico Cat’ Cubed Teapot, in excellent condition. From the 1960s, this cube shaped 3.25” x 3.5” teapot for one, features a blue and white floral chintz pattern, on the silhouette of a cat. Apparently highly sought after by collectors, this was sourced in northern Vermont. $75

Stunning mid-century Beauceware cream & sugar, featuring a green and golden drip glaze. The set is in like new condition. One of my favourite mid-century pressed glass patterns, ‘Floral’ from the Italian glassmaker, A.Masserini. The simplicity, coupled the modern handle— I love it! We have several pieces from this collection in stock, including this 9” diameter glass cheese/dessert plate, with accompanying dome. It really is exquisite, and now that I have two, I feel ok about keeping one!

Vintage Anchor Hocking Milano Aqua Textured Glass Ball Pitcher. Manufactured throughout the 1960s. My family was gifted the pitcher with accompanying tumblers when I was a child, and I loved them. Truly had to do a double take at the thrift. It holds 96 oz., and is in fantastic condition. A beautiful piece of mid-century vintage glassware. $40

Two refined glass pedestal cake stands. They were sourced on the same day, at the same shop- which begs the question, did they belong to the same sophisticated person? We will never know, but here they are, ready for their new life !
- The smaller cake plate is Early American Pressed Glass (EAPG), manufactured by the McKee Brothers, in the classic Isis pattern. This pattern features a central flower surrounded by a starburst design. The McKee Brothers introduced Isis ( #132) in 1894. Their factory in Jeannette, Pensylvania was eventually purchased by the Jeannette Glass company. The cake plate measures 9.25” diameter & stands 4.6” height. It’s in like new condition, despite its age! $45
- The larger cake dish was manufactured by Ambiance Crystal, in the Regency pattern. Measuring 11.75” in diameter, this discontinued piece has a diamond cut centre and beaded detailing around the edges of both the plate and the base of the rim. Also in excellent condition & truly a unique show stopper. $60

If it’s not obvious- there is a long list of things I love about Mexico. Mexican Pottery is high on the list, particularly pieces that are not only beautiful, but are used on the daily, for cooking.
I was so excited to find this traditional cazuela de barro (clay pot). Made from terracotta and hand painted with a floral design. In addition to its decorative scalloped edge, it also has side handles for easy transport. It measures 12” diameter x 2.75” height. In the last photo, I have zoomed in on a small scratch. It can be used as a centrepiece, a place to put fruits and vegetables, or for the serving of hot food. $30
