February is done, but my socks are still in progress. Different colours, different sizes, but 100% made with love and even a few tears. Claimed by my daughter, who loves their mismatched weirdness.

Week 2 of the Canadian Cancer Society's February Knitting Challenge, and I am well into my second sock. I love how much fun they are to knit, and I love that this challenge has reawakened my joy in knitting. The rhythmic "click clink" of the needles is mesmerizing.

Day 8 of the Canadian Cancer Society's Knitting Challenge, and I am going strong. I have made it past the dreaded heel, and am at work on the instep.
I'm glad I challenged myself with sock knitting. I have a really simple pattern, and I kept telling myself "you may not understand it, but trust the process and the pattern and get it done one row at a time". Now I have something that definitely resembles a sock, and I love the colour variation.
