This heart-shaped pottery dish was made with a pressed leaf from my grandfather's anthurium plant. A cutting from that plant now lives on in my own home, carrying with it the memories of his wisdom and warmth. 🌱

This heart-shaped leaf is a reminder of the beauty and strength of family, and love that transcends time. 💫

Through sculpture, painting, jewellery, textiles, and mixed media, the artists explore how the things we keep enrich our spaces and deepen our sense of belonging. Each work becomes a meeting point between lived experience and personal story.

From the bottom of my heart, I thank you all for your love and support in 2025. My shelves are empty, and my heart is feeling full -I can't wait to see what magic 2026 will bring! ✨️

Some new items have been in the works, some old designs have been tweaked and refined, and a refreshing colour palette will take the stage. I look forward to restocking for what's yet to come, and exploring some new ideas that have been buzzing in the back of my brain for a while. 🍽 🐝

As the season is shifting and critters are getting stocked up for the winter, there have been quiet moments in the studio.

Moments of gratitude for this pottery journey I am on, how I got to where I am today, and the path it is taking me.

Moments of reflection on where I've been, what I've created, and the inspiring people I've met along the way.

Moments of stillness to take deep breaths, and soak in my surroundings. To be calm after a harvest-full season, both in the studio and the gardens.

Moments of exploration -this is one I aim to practice more regularly in the studio with the means to challenge myself. While mugs are meditative in repetition, I have felt the urge to explore new ideas, and more challenging forms as a handbuilder.

I was asked by a client to create 3 larger pots -this is something I have very little experience with as I haven't done anything this large of scale in my 15 years of doing pottery. While trusting my skills and knowledge I've accumulated along this journey, I finally had the courage to create a large pot (and continued to make 5 more).

I've been telling myself lately "what's the worst that can happen?", which has been leading me to ask "why was I so nervous in the first place?". Just make the big pot, and have fun.
