Brand new batch of mushrooms! I’ve found that this speckled clay works quite nicely for them, even if it’s a bit lighter than the clay I was using before. Plus it’s a Canadian clay!

Please excuse the weird lighting.😅 I made some more of my crescent moon planters! A lot of trial and error involved in perfecting these, and I'm still working on it. They involve cutting out each side and slowly drying them in a shallow bowl so that they keep their shape, then throwing the bases and attaching everything together. A lot of work but I love the result! Can't wait to get them glazed.

Dropped a selection of nature-themed pieces at in downtown Ladysmith yesterday! A fantastic little shop with a great selection of clothes and accessories (and more!) all from local artisans and makers. I had to tear myself away from their printed tee selection.😅 Check them out next time you’re in Ladysmith!

Hello everyone! After a few months of getting all set up in our new place in Nanaimo and getting my home studio up and running, I am finally making pottery again and I'm so happy to be back! These have been thrown, trimmed, handled and decorated, but of course they still have to be fired, glazed, and then fired again before they are finished. I couldn't wait to show them off though, as I think my carving and drawing skills are really improving!

I'll be getting back into local markets in the new year, let me know if you have any to recommend

Life update! After a lot of time and planning, my wonderful partner and I will be moving to Vancouver Island in September! We'll be settling in Nanaimo and I'll be setting up a home studio where I can start making my pottery full time! This is a huge change, but I am so excited for this next chapter. I still have one more market in Vancouver before we leave, so if you want to get your hands on some of my pottery next weekend, come by the Vancouver Pagan Awareness Celebration this Saturday! Thank you everyone so much for all your support over the years, and I'm so excited to be able to take my skills and career to the next level. Stay tuned!
