Today, we recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

We honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, and the families and communities affected by the residential school system.

A day to listen, learn, reflect, and remember.

Every Child Matters. 🧡

Meet one of the mattress options you’ll find at John’s Bedrooms: Talalay latex.

We carry Talalay latex products because not everyone is looking for the same thing in a mattress.

And this is where shopping in person really matters. Come in, lie down, take your time, and talk with our team before deciding.

We’re not here to rush you into a mattress. We’re here to help you find one you’ll actually be happy sleeping on.

Buying a new mattress or bedroom furniture is a big decision, and we don’t think anyone should feel pressured into it.

At John’s Bedrooms, our team doesn’t work on commission. So if you need time to think, want to ask more questions, or come back another day, that’s completely fine.

We’d rather help you find something that actually works for you than push you into a quick sale.

Take your time. Ask questions. Come back as many times as you need.

That’s how we like to do things at John’s Bedrooms.

Happy Labour Day from all of us at John’s Bedrooms! 🇨🇦

Today, we want to recognize the people who help make John’s Bedrooms what it is, our team.

One thing we’re especially proud of is being a no-commission store. Our team doesn’t have to worry about hitting sales targets or pushing a customer into a purchase. They can simply take the time to listen, answer questions, and help people find what’s right for them.

Less pressure on our employees. Less pressure on our customers. That’s the kind of store we want John’s Bedrooms to be.

To our team and everyone working hard in our communities, we hope you enjoy a well-earned Labour Day.

Another happy customer at John’s Bedrooms Nanaimo.

We’re always grateful when customers take the time to share their experience. Helping people find the right mattress, bed, or bedroom setup is what we do every day.

The softest part of a mattress usually takes the most wear.

But that does not always mean the whole mattress needs replacing. Sometimes, the support underneath is still doing its job and only the topper has worn down.

That is why a separate topper can make a big difference. It allows you to replace the part that wears first instead of replacing more than you need to.

At John’s Bedrooms, we believe mattress buying should be practical, honest, and built around what actually works for you.
